Refer a Family

We support parents and relative caregivers facing a crisis of poverty—families doing their best to care for children but without the resources to meet their basic needs.

Who Can Make a Referral

Referrals are accepted from the following Cobb County agencies and faith communities:

  • Child Protective Services (CPS)

  • Guardians ad Litem (GAL)

  • Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)

  • Cobb County & Marietta Schools

  • Faith leaders

Referral Eligibility

  • The family is facing a current crisis of poverty.

  • Children must live in the home of the caregiver referred.

  • Must live in metro Atlanta area (within 30 miles of Cobb, County)

  • Relatives must not be receiving a foster care stipend at the time of referral (guardianship stipends are allowed).

  • The family is at risk of child welfare involvement or foster care due to unmet basic needs.
